The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee would like to take this opportunity to present to its voting members the slate of candidates running for a Director’s seat on the Board of Directors for the year 2010-2011.

 According to our by-laws (Section 2: Selection and Election of Directors paragraph A) any additional candidates must be nominated by Petition.  All nominations shall be sent to the Chair of the Nominating Committee Debra Kaplan (debiekaplan@verizon.net  or fax # 319-856-9638).

Section 2: A

Additional names of candidates for the Board of Directors can be nominated by Petition bearing the genuine signature of at least twenty (20) qualified voting members of the Chamber. The Petition shall be filed with the nominating committee within ten (10) business days after notice has been given of those nominated.  The determination of the Nominating Committee as to the legality of the Petition(s) shall be final. Each candidate must have been an active member in good standing for at least one year preceding nomination and meet specific measurable criteria which reflects the duties and responsibilities of a Directorship. A link of the criteria will be made available to review on the Chamber web site.
