Miss Wesley Chapel Pageant

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the Miss Wesley Chapel Pageant on May 8, 2010 to be held at the Wesley Chapel Performing Arts Center at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the pageant is to seek out and award outstanding young ladies and women by providing scholarship opportunities, personal development and community involvement, while emphasizing beauty, style and confidence. The pageant has always chosen a community campaign and the choice for 2010 is “Pounds for Pets”. Each contestant will donate a 3 or 4 lb bag of dog or cat food to donate to the Humane Society.

The Miss Wesley Chapel Pageant has broadened its horizons for 2010. The pageant has opened its boundaries to include all entrants in Pasco County between the ages of 5 ~ 65 with a total of 6 age divisions. The divisions not only include the student that is still in college up to age 21 that can still utilize the scholarship opportunities but also to include the Mrs. that still wants to make an impact on her community by being a positive role model and spokesperson for local businesses and charitable events.

The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce will not only crown the first Mrs. Wesley Chapel but also the first Mrs. Wesley Chapel United States. Coupled with the growth of the age divisions the prize package has grown also to include the opportunity for the newly crowned queens to advance to the Florida U.S. Pageant to compete for a state title on the weekend of April 24-25 in the Daytona Beach Area. The prize package includes scholarships, gift certificates, a photo shoot and cash prizes to name a few.

The Miss Wesley Chapel Pageant offers an opportunity for family and friends to come out and enjoy an evening of entertainment while cheering on and supporting their favorite contestant. Ticket prices are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the door. Applications are available at the Wesley Chapel Chamber or www.wesleychapelchamber.com. The registration fee is $65.00 plus the cost for an ad, which is $25.00. The ad is business card size and can be sold to a business or family for well wishes. The entrant that’s sells the most ads will receive the Spirit of Pageantry Award.
