The Pasco Schools Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel, on the campus of Wesley Chapel High School, has brought a new cultural dimension to the community. The state-of-the-art theater has been a venue for a number of plays, concerts, dance performances, and literary programs. The center has provided an excellent opportunity to experience "The Nutcracker" ballet during the holidays, a live performance by Maynard Ferguson and his orchestra, and a matinee concert by the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, among others. No big-city traffic, tickets at a fraction of the big-city cost, and free parking add up to convenient and affordable culture for local families. The theater also has a gallery in its lobby, for the display of visual arts.

A Chamber-sponsored arts festival in the spring has also been gaining in popularity. A juried fine arts show, it is an opportunity for artists and crafters to present their work and for residents to do some shopping. Jazz and blues musicians also participate in this celebration of the arts.

Arts in Motion is a youth theater education program that offers hands-on theater productions and workshops for local children. Productions such as Peter Pan and Annie have appeared onstage at Wesley Chapel's Center for the Arts.

Nearby Saint Leo University generously offers cultural opportunities to residents of Wesley Chapel, many of them for free admission. Plays presented by the university's drama department, lectures by prominent authors, guest speaker programs, concerts, and discussion groups are often open to the public.
