The District School Board of Pasco County currently has twelve schools located in Wesley Chapel, and two more will be opening in the near future. The schools have achieved much recognition for their academics, and the students who attend them are the pride of the community. As children move through their elementary school education and enter one of the two middle schools, they are preparing for the innovative programs in learning communities at either Wesley Chapel High School or Wiregrass Ranch High School. Outstanding scholars graduate each year, advancing to higher education and promising futures. In addition to the community's public schools, Saddlebrook High School is a private educational facility located on the grounds of Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel.
Students may choose to pursue college degrees and certifications at the nearby campuses of the University of South Florida in Tampa, the University of Tampa, Pasco-Hernando Community College, Hillsborough Community College or Saint Leo University. Nova Southeastern University has an educational center in Tampa, and Rasmussen College's Pasco County campus is located in Holiday. All are less than 45-minutes away. Pasco-Hernando Community College is pursuing plans to build a Wesley Chapel campus in the near future.
Wesley Chapel also has many preschool and daycare centers for younger children, with before and after-school programs for school-age children. New River Branch Library, located on S.R.54, provides many educational resources for children and adults in the community.
