Faith Communities and Civic Organizations

Wesley Chapel is home to many houses of worship that represent dozens of denominations. These congregations provide many social and community services that are not covered by government or charitable organizations. They are true partners in building the Wesley Chapel community.

A number of civic organizations such as Rotary and the American Red Cross are active in Wesley Chapel, benefiting the community with a strong tradition of volunteerism. Other non-profit clubs and organizations with particular interests that may be environmental, political, educational, or business-focused also contribute to the wholeness of the community.

For several years the community has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, the organization’s largest fund-raising event supporting its programs of research, education, advocacy, and patient services. There are now two events in Wesley Chapel– one held at Wesley Chapel High School and another at Wiregrass Ranch High School.
